um…i couldnt agree more with everything you said. Taylor was perfect for twilight and he is definitely a cutie and will grow up to be a heart breaker…but i just dont feel like he fits the role later on. Jacob is supposed to be 6’7 and 240+ lbs for gods sake…even with the 30lbs that taylor packed on isnt going to help him. while Strait is hot…i think Copon would have stepped in perfectly- for all the same reasons you mentioned.

too late though. we’ll see how Taylor fits when the next movie comes out. hopefully it isn’t as disappointing as Twilight…

Steven Strait. Sex on a stick. Awesome. I love taylor’s personality. He is sunny Jacob perfectly. I do think he could capture the intensity of older Jake. Taylor was a 4 time martial arts champ and he can deliver the intensity and smoldering required. However, his problem is lack of maturity, height, and bulk. In a few years Taylor might be right. For now all I can see as older jake is Steven. I don’t like Copon. Cute, but is a real jerk and cannot act. My fear for using Steven is too many people will root for Jake. I would take Steve over Rob in a hot second.

Steven Strait. Copon could pull off being the older taylor, but he’s so old looking though, and missing something…Strait can pull off being the young and older jacob black; plus, there’s something more about him. must be his sad eyes and smile that can light up a room

Oh YEAH! I would take ethier of those last two for Jacob in New Moon. I agree the younger guy was purfect for Twilight, but now for the love triangle we need an older guy.
