I guess I’m a Kris lover….not an Adam ‘hater’ as such, Kris is just more my style. I agree that Adam has unbelievable amounts of talent and a fabulous voice….I just don’t love what he does with it. Too much screaming for me and a little too campy. He is lovely to look at though.

I didn’t realize just how much I wanted Kris to win (or maybe didn’t want Adam to win), until it was announced and my 17 year old daughter and I screamed, quite loudly I might add, for about 30 seconds straight and my husband plugged his ears and said, ‘Chill out, will ya?’ Heehee!

I am SO all over SYTYCD again. Such talent coming from that show….I teared up when Natalie danced last night….so beautiful. I really hope she makes the top 20 this year.

I’m another who won’t watch Bones anymore. But I LOVED the LOST finale! I thought it was great fun. Grey’s Anatomy was good, too. And of course, SPN!!!

Didn’t watch AI either – but Stephanie, I’d have to agree that the Bones finale wasn’t spectacular. I mean I loved it cuz it was Bones, but I had a harder time getting into it.
What about the Dollhouse finale? Alan Tudyk just plain rocks!

I agree with you about Idol. I also did not realize how much I wanted Adam to win. I’m a bit sad about it today so I’ll just look forward to buying his first album.

They’ll probably both do CD’s and possibly I’ll buy Adam’s. I don’t buy CD’s a lot, but I might just buy his depending on how it looks and all.

I was not a watcher of AI, but I can say I was mostly disappointed by the season finale’s this year. I disliked the Bones ending so much, I think it jumped the shark for me.

Well, I will have to disagree with you. Adam is not everyone’s cup of tea. He wasn’t mine. I never was a fan of glam rock in the 80s or hair bands.

I like voices that I can feel emotionally connected to. Screeching, wailing–whatever you want to call it–just hurts my ears. That is not ’singing’ to me. And I take offense at the idea that Adam *should* have won…for what particular reason? Music is very subjective, just like books. Kris is NOT a 3-star singer. Maybe to *you* he is…but to me he is bordering on 4’s and 5’s.

I love Kris’s kind of music. Doesn’t make it any better than Adam’s…wish the Adam fans would recognize that. Why does it have to be ‘edgy’ in order to be worthy? Why can’t a good voice and musical talent (Kris can play multiple instruments and showed he has musicianship with his arrangements) be enough?

There is room on the top ten charts for Jason Mraz AND edgier artists. Does that mean Jason Mraz-type music is crap or schlocky?

I can appreciate that Adam has talent. But I don’t like his particular type of music. I think you can do both….but clearly you think Kris has less talent and is less deserving, which really kind of sticks in my craw. Sorry.
