A couple new reviews
My how time flies when you’re having… uh, fun? Yes, fun. Fun is definitely what I’ve been having this summer. That’s the story I’ll stick with.
I’m busily working away at my editorial revisions for INEVITABLE, which is my Harlequin Blaze that’s coming out March 2011.
Received a couple rather lovely reviews from the last couple issues of Romantic Times that I’d like to share, if I might.
First off, SOMETHING WICKED (out in two little weeks!) received a 4-1/2 star RT review:
“Should a book about demons, angels and Lucifer be seriously fun? Why not? When Rowen is behind the story, readers are in for a wild ride. This second installment in the truly captivating Living in Eden series promises that there’s much more fun to come.”
Nice! There is much more fun to come. I’m also working on THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC, the third book in the Darrak & Eden “Living in Eden” three book arc. Let’s call it a trilogy, shall we? I have lots of stories to tell about other characters after that if I’m lucky enough to get the chance.
Now, I just got this review from the latest issue of RT, for my November Blaze, TOUCH AND GO (that has the hottest cover ever, in my humble opinion).
4-1/2 stars as well!!
“Carrie Stanfield and Patrick McKay are psychic agents with PARA who fall in love — OK, lust — at first sight. An accident impairs Patrick’s ability to control his psychic powers and when he touches anyone, including Carrie, the person’s emotions and thoughts are too painful for him to handle. Rowen spices things up with a vengeful goddess and a deserted island in the Bahamas. The paranormal elements are spelled out for new readers, so newcomers shouldn’t have any trouble keeping up with the characters and the action.”
So, hooray! Glad my prose is getting a little bit of love.
On Tuesday, October 5th, right here on the blog, I’ll be having my virtual release party for SOMETHING WICKED. Virtual fun will be had by all, I’m sure. Mark your calendars!

Thanks Ash’o!
Elsie… I hope so. Right now there’s no contract for more books, but time will tell.
Calliope… yep, three books about D&E. After that? Who knows? I have many stories in my head that I hope to get the chance to tell.

If Eden isn’t the main character in book 4 would the “Living in EDEN” series title still apply?

I got into Laurell K Hamilton’s Blue Moon Cafe, then I read everything she ever wrote and have been going like a madwoman ever since.
