Happy Halloween!
There was a time, not so long ago, that I fancied myself an aspiring horror writer. My favorite writer was Stephen King and I wanted to write just like him. Of course, my stories eventually ended up having more romance in them that most horror stories, but still. It was a thing. Now my stories still have monsters in them, but more often than not, they’re the good guys.
Thought I’d share one of the short stories I wrote way back when, which I think is fairly fitting for Halloween in its own creepy little way: The Traveling Spectacular.

I liked your story. Actually I liked all of your work. I like the style of your writing. One day, I wanted to write like you.
I already decided what to write, now get my ass on the chair and write. If my nanna (June Whyte) and you could do it. So can I.
