Love coming home to a happy family. Where my daughter has done all her homework. My husband has made dinner. My dog Princess (we adopted at a local shelter) doing the happy dance, and whining happily at the sight of me. Awe, life is good!

I was super down last night (broke up with my bf of 7 years a couple of months ago), but today is a beautiful Spring day down here in Buenos Aires, Argentina, sunny and warm, the neighbors’ kitty says hi to me from the balcony, my choco lab is out for a walk, and I woke up to an inspiring tweet from author Paulo Coehlo: “Life is too short – or too long – to allow myself the luxury of living it badly”. So I’ll try to follow his advice, at least for today!

I love when authoirs reward their readers with such great contest, fabulous and kudos to you. I love this series, it is so different from others I read and puts me right in with the characters. Great books give me happy happy, joy joy. Whenever I’m struggling with the weight of the world and it feels like things will never get better, I need only settle myself down with a little literary entertainment (like a book of yours ::grin::) and the world is easier to live in. It’s my go-to escape…often times one I never want to leave. I’m lucky that I work at a great (if under-funded) library, surrounded by my favorite things. Having some of my own is awfully nice, though.

Oooh, I have a happy– I just figured out how to do ebooks from the library! This is especially helpful for hardcovers because they are so expensive. I can then wait for the paperback release without the torture of not getting the book to read! Right now I checked out J.R. Wards latest BDB book:)

I love too read all kinds of books. I just can’t seem to find any of your books. I love too curl up in my chair with my dog and loose myself in a book. When I start to read I loose myself in the book. When I start reading I keep on until I finish the book. I mean when one reads who doesn’t get lost in the worlds of vampires and werewolves and succubus. I can just imagine being chased and loved on by a dark and mysterious man or hell even a woman. I can close my eyes and feel a slight breeze on my neck and as he nibbles at my neck he trails is long fingers around my breast and down between my legs. Oh my. Kittens are the cutest animals in the world
I love when they softly meow at you when the just want attention. I love the sound of them purring and the feel of their fur when I pet them. Kittens are my favorite animal. They also have a laid back nature.

The weather here has been pretty warm until today. My granddaughter is here for me to watch for the day(which is pretty great in itself) and she said she was cold, it was so nice to be able to put a blanket on and feel cozy again. So looking forward to fall weather and reading That Old Black Magic when released.

My happy, happy, joy, joy moment was yesterday when my kid’s progress reports arrived and there was not a grade below an 80 in sight. Yipee! I really didn’t have the strength for a lecture.

I just finished reading Watership Down for our enlish class and it was just so WONDERFUL. At first I thought it was corny, with all the rabbits talking, but the rabbits were SMART. I was like WOAH to everything they did. haha. and now I’m buying a rabbit couple and writing a story called “The doe”

Happiest news I have: after six months of separation, I’ll finally be reunited with my dog, Sushi, in about 16 hours.
My husband was stationed to Okinawa (Marines) in May and due to Japanese laws we had to do A LOT of stuff to get out dog out here. The day is finally here though!!
Also, it amuses me that my dog is named Sushi ad she’s going to live in Japan. This was not done on purpose. I’m a part time clown, and my clown name is Bamboo. So we are “Lucky, Bamboo and Sushi.”. Lucky is my hubby’s clown name (he did clown school with me, lol).

My son woke me up at the crack this morning, not to scream for pancakes, but to ask if I wanted to come watch the sun rise with him. So we sit on the stairs and cuddle under a blanket while the violent pinks and oranges fade to blue. And when it’s done he turns to me and says, “Mommy, it’s too bad vampires don’t get to see that.”

The neighbor’s cat, like his owner, doesn’t do cute very well but it’s really funny to watch him (the cat) try (he has been trying to look cute so that I would scratch him). Unfortunately for him, I’m really allergic to cats. Still, it’s fun to watch him change from being slightly grumpy to being appealing (wide-opened eyes, rolling on his back to expose his belly, etc.) and then back to grumpy again when I don’t stop to scratch him. It’s not happy-happy for him but it amuses me no end, even if I do feel a bit guilty once in a while.

I just got home from a nice evening out and found both our cats asleep in the living room, I think I’ve managed to turn their day-night schedule around a bit in the last few days so that they now sleep at similiar times to us, it’s kinda nice.

i live in Melbourne, Australia and the weather here is known for being all 4 seasons in one day but the last few days we have had the most AMAZING weather for the first time in a long time. its been beautiful and sunny, perfect spring days that let you know summer is coming. its made getting through my last week of university seem so much easier and better. My happy thought: yay, it is weekend! I have won a lovely ebook on Erin Quinns blog, and I have lots of reading time ahead of me. The only difficulty I am facing, is which book to choose. I love the contests you authors are holding at the moment. The line between paranormal romance and urban fantasy is often very thin and obscure, and I love both genres.

Something nice, well there was this really nice little girl at the library. I was sitting at the counter and she came up and showed me a paper mache balloon she had made, So different from other kids who do not even say hi So that was fun

Something that made me smile today- talking to my little girl about the fact the leaves have already all fallen off the trees in our garden and now the tree looks sad and bare she smiled and said it’s okay daddy will fix it. It made me laugh she firmly believes his DIY skills stretch to putting all the leaves back on the trees when I know he can just about put up a shelf!
